BSBI Leaders Honoured at International Awards

Recently, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation garnered attention for their outstanding achievements in academia and research. Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at BSBI, was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, while Dr Farshad Badie, Head of Research (formerly Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, has been recognised with the esteemed Research Excellence Award. These accolades were presented by the Society for Intelligent Systems, India.  

The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis’s distinguished career spanning decades, characterised by unwavering commitment to education, research, and academic leadership.

Dr Farshad Badie’s receipt of the Research Excellence Award underscores his significant contributions to Computer Science, Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. His innovative research endeavours have not only pushed the boundaries of knowledge but have also paved the way for groundbreaking developments in the industry.

These awards, presented by the Society for Intelligent Systems, India, reaffirm BSBI’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and innovation globally. The recognition of Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis and Dr Farshad Badie among the recipients of the Excellence Awards 2024 highlights BSBI’s standing as a centre of intellectual rigor and scholarly distinction.
