BSBI provides information and guidance to help students explore accommodation options suitable for their location, preferences and budget. Depending on your campus, these may include student residences, shared accommodation, private apartments and temporary housing.

Accommodation is generally arranged separately from your programme, so we recommend starting your search early and reviewing the dedicated information for your campus.

Where to Start

Preliminary Research

After you receive your visa, you can begin searching for accommodation through our accommodation guide.

Connecting

You will get in contact with the landlord discuss the details.

Secure Your Room

Sign the Tenancy Agreement and do the payment to secure your place. All students have to register their residence in Berlin within 14 days after they have moved into their accommodation.

Flat share

If you decide to share a flat, you can choose from single, double or twin rooms. A flat share is a great opportunity to share experiences with other international students.

Prices will vary based on the size of the flat, location, and furnishings.

Shared rooms start from €380 per person each month.
A single room in a shared apartment starts from €450 per person each month.

Studio/Flat rent

If you’d prefer your own space, we can help you find individual accommodation. There are many studio apartments dotted around Berlin, from Zone 1 (city centre) to zone 4 (outskirts of city).

Central Berlin prices for

Double rooms start from €145 per week
Single rooms start from €95 per week
