BSBI Hosts Largest Graduation Ceremony to Date
On 22 July 2025, Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) marked a significant milestone with its 9th and largest graduation ceremony held in Berlin, Germany.

A total of 288 graduates and 228 guests gathered from 33 nationalities, representing BSBI’s Berlin, Hamburg, and Paris campuses. Graduates came from 16 different programmes across bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels.
Opening the event, Olena Epelboim, Head of Student Life, encouraged graduates to reflect on their personal journeys: “Today I ask you to pause and circle back to the beginning,” she said. “You chose the brave route. You were not stopped by distance, language, or uncertainty. You have proven to the world, and to yourselves, that anything is possible.”
Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, BSBI Provost and Chief Academic Officer, acknowledged the sacrifices made by students and their families: “You had to study, adapt to a new environment, and support yourselves. And still, you succeeded,” he said. “Time is precious, use it wisely. Education opens doors, but learning never stops.”

Among the graduate speakers was Sukhpreetkaur Kochar, an undergraduate student who previously served as student council president, reflected on her personal growth: “I thought I came to Berlin to build a career. Instead, I built a version of myself I hadn’t met yet,” she shared. “The real honour was sitting next to classmates who challenged me and professors who inspired me.”
Pablo Alonso Gonzalez Ponce, a postgraduate student, urged fellow graduates to take bold steps: “If you have an idea, no matter how wild, do it,” he said. “Fear may slow us down, but this city, Berlin, taught us how to rise and make the impossible happen.”
For Dr James Agbor Okpokiri, a Doctorate in Business Administration graduate, the event was about more than receiving a degree: “This reflects years of persistence, learning and growth,” he said. “BSBI not only gave me answers, but taught me how to ask better questions and apply them in the real world.”

“You’ve questioned assumptions and shaped your voice into something powerful and unique,” she said. “You’re now part of a long-standing tradition of excellence. The journey ahead holds real potential.”
As the graduates stepped forward to receive their certificates, applause filled the venue, a recognition of the hard work, resilience and commitment each student had shown.
