BSBI has partnered with the British Council to offer IELTS testing on the BSBI Berlin campus for
eligible BSBI students and alumni. The British Council is responsible for the delivery of the IELTS
test, while BSBI supports promotion, student guidance, and on-campus logistics.

BSBI is responsible for:
  • Promoting IELTS opportunities
  • Managing the Expression of Interest process
  • Sending the dedicated British Council registration link
  • Providing general guidance to students
  • Coordinating exam-day logistics on campus

BSBI does not:

  • Register students
  • Accept payments
  • Deliver the exam
  • Issue results

The British Council is responsible for:

Students complete the BSBI Expression of Interest Form.
After submitting the form, BSBI sends them the dedicated British Council registration link.
Students then:
  • register directly with the British Council;
  • pay the examination fee directly to the British Council.

Students must register themselves through the British Council website using the dedicated
registration link.

It simply allows BSBI to send the student the appropriate registration link.
The place is confirmed only after the student completes registration and payment with the
British Council.

All payments are made directly to the British Council.
BSBI never collects IELTS fees.

Requests for reasonable adjustments or special arrangements must be made directly with the
British Council during the registration process.
