MEET THE BSBI TEAM

Carolina Olaya is a dedicated lecturer and researcher with over 15 years of combined professional and academic experience in strategic management, sustainability, and corporate responsibility. Originally from Colombia, Carolina built a strong corporate career, leading strategic planning and sustainability initiatives in multinational companies such as Ecopetrol, AIG, Indupalma, and OXY. In these roles, she developed and implemented Balanced Scorecards, designed strategic KPIs, aligned supplier networks with GRI standards, and drove communication programmes to embed corporate vision and values across thousands of employees.

Hector Robelló is a finance professional and sustainable finance consultant with extensive experience as both a manager and lecturer in asset management, financial markets, and sustainable finance. In recent years, he has worked on the development and implementation of projects related to the EU Taxonomy, climate risk assessment and TCFD reporting, sustainable financing frameworks and Second-Party Opinions, as well as ESG impact measurement within investment portfolios for financial and non-financial institutions.

Antonio Alonso is the CEO for Spain at BSBI, leading the school’s growth and development across its Spanish campuses.

Dr. Alina Baskakova specialises in operations research, and modelling for logistics and supply chain management. She holds a PhD in Economics from St. Petersburg State University of Economics. Prior to joining BSBI, she worked in Russia as a lecturer at the National Research University Higher School of Economics and St. Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics.

Adam Yaacov Yassour completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2011 at the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem, Israel. He has served as animation director on numerous projects for clients such as Microsoft, Berliner Wasserbetriebe, Johnson and Johnson, the Natural History Museum in Bern, Switzerland, Greenpeace, Oxfam, and others.

Dr Benjamin Bensam Sambiri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience in managing corporate organisations and higher education institutions. His areas of expertise include lecturing, research, financial management, marketing, business administration, ICT, and human resource development.

Dr Abdelaziz Triki is a computer scientist specialising in machine learning, computer vision, and image processing. His doctoral research was conducted as part of a collaborative project between the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) in Leipzig, in partnership with the University of Sfax. His work focused on developing advanced AI methodologies for data-driven analysis. Dr Triki has extensive experience across both academia and the technology industry, contributing significantly to AI-driven innovations in healthcare.

Dr Ahmed Mahmoud is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI). He is a dedicated and methodical academic professional with over ten years of teaching experience in logistics, supply chain management, project management, and research methods.

Dr. Akua Bobson is a passionate scholar and educator whose work bridges the worlds of literature, identity, and culture. Holding a PhD in English Literature from the University of Ghana and a Master’s Degree from the Ruprecht-Karls Universität (Heidelberg), her research explores how “Africa” manifests in diaspora literary texts through an interdisciplinary lens. Her academic interests encompass comparative and postcolonial literature, with a particular focus on Afro-Caribbean narratives and the intersections of literature and history across the African diaspora.
