Overview

Moylin Buldain is a multidisciplinary Visual Development Artist, Character Designer, and Art Director whose work bridges illustration, animation, and game design. With a background rooted in fine arts and digital storytelling, her creative practice explores vibrant world-building, emotive character narratives, and striking visual compositions that blend traditional and digital media.

Graduating with an MA in Animation and Illustration from the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (2020) and a BA in Fine Arts from Winchester School of Art (2018), she developed a strong foundation in both conceptual thinking and visual execution. Her academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to narrative design and visual storytelling across multiple industries. Moylin has contributed to a range of acclaimed projects in animation, gaming, and publishing.

Beyond client work, Moylin’s art has been exhibited internationally, with solo gallery shows at venues such as the Edinburgh Fringe (2020), God’s House Tower (2019), Tate Exchange (2017), and exhibitions in Tokyo, Amsterdam, and New York. These showcases reflect her continued exploration of identity, culture, and visual symbolism through personal and experimental projects. Her specialisms encompass concept art, illustration, character design, children’s illustration, comic and book cover design, and UI/UX art—all unified by a distinctive artistic voice.
