Overview
Dr Benjamin Bensam Sambiri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience in managing corporate organisations and higher education institutions. His areas of expertise include lecturing, research, financial management, marketing, business administration, ICT, and human resource development.
He also holds an MBA in Strategic Management, which has equipped him with advanced skills in strategic planning, business analysis, and identifying drivers and barriers in international business. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, providing him with a strong foundation in business models, theories, and digital transformation management.
Throughout his career, Dr Sambiri has held several senior positions in higher education, including University Registrar, Vice-Chancellor, and Campus Manager. He has extensive experience in university governance and corporate management and has served as a consultant for numerous organisations globally. He possesses strong business management skills and interdisciplinary expertise in simplifying complex concepts, along with excellent problem-solving abilities under challenging conditions.
Dr Sambiri has exceptional written and verbal communication skills suited to diverse audiences. His experience includes managing university boards and councils, having served as Secretary to the University Council and Senate, and as Board Chair for Yes Bud Online University. He has also worked as an external consultant for the National Council of Higher Education, assessing programmes for registration and accreditation.
He is currently a Faculty Member at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), Germany, within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. His focus areas include student mentoring, academic consultation, and programme assessment for collaborations and partnerships with international universities.
Dr Sambiri previously held managerial roles as Marketing Manager at Catering Services Ltd and Computer Manager at Airport Development Limited, where he implemented several financial information management systems using ACCPAC, SAGE, and Pastel Accounting software.
