Afghanistan Ambassador to Germany, Mr Abdul Jabar Ariyaee, gives a lecture to BSBI students

On Wednesday 29 May, Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) hosted the third edition of the “BSBI Lectures” series. On this occasion, the school welcomed His Excellency Mr Abdul Jabar Ariyaee, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Germany, as a guest of honour.

During the lecture, titled “Afghanistan; Economy and Innovation”, Mr Ariyaee discussed the economic landscape in Afghanistan and how the country has been rebuilding itself over the past years. The lecture also focused on the ongoing and flourishing bilateral relations between Afghanistan, Germany and the European Union.

Throughout his career, Mr Ariyaee has covered roles within business, management and media, including holding the position of Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Education, before being appointed as Ambassador to Germany in 2016.

The “BSBI Lectures” series aims to create further learning opportunities for BSBI students, bringing to the school successful individuals, experts and leaders from a variety of industries.

Mr Ariyaee’s visits also looks to help the school in opening collaborations with the South Asian region, for the benefits of its current and future students.

To further mark the mutual desire of collaboration between the two organisations, at the end of the event His Excellency was appointed as Honorary Fellow of BSBI.
