A Glimpse into Luxury: BSBI Students Visit Titanic Hotels Berlin

On 20 May, students from BSBI’s Tourism and Hospitality programme had the remarkable opportunity to visit two prestigious properties in the Titanic Hotels Berlin portfolio: the elegant Titanic Chaussee Berlin and the iconic Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin.

This immersive learning experience offered students a unique window into the inner workings of luxury hospitality, allowing them to observe firsthand the operational processes, service excellence, and sophisticated design elements that define high-end hotel management in Berlin.

Through guided tours and professional insights, students were able to bridge classroom theory with practical industry applications, deepening their understanding of quality standards and guest expectations in the luxury segment.

BSBI extends its heartfelt thanks to the management teams of both hotels for their warm hospitality, insightful presentations, and comprehensive tours, which provided invaluable exposure to real-world practices.

We also acknowledge the essential support and coordination of BSBI faculty and leadership who made this experience possible, including Michael Ferenc, Dr. Kamilia Kentra and Flavio Andrew do Nascimento Santos. Special appreciation goes to Prof. Dr. Kyriakos Kouveliotis FRSA, Dr. Shiv Tripathi and Dr. Niloufar Aminpour for their continued advocacy of experiential, hands-on learning.

Educational visits like this are key to nurturing future leaders in the tourism and hospitality sector, equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and inspiration needed to thrive in a competitive global industry.
