Exploring new dimensions: Creative arts students in the BSBI Metaverse campus

On May 16, the BSBI Faculty of Creative Industries marked a significant milestone with the launch of the BSBI Metaverse campus experience. This groundbreaking event, orchestrated by Dr. Okan Tansu, featured a historic keynote speech delivered remotely from Berlin to Hamburg.

Dr. Svitlana Samoylenko, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and a Global University Systems Fellow, addressed Creative Industries MA students in Hamburg from the metaverse. Her speech focused on the five trends of the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) world for innovation and art.

This event represented the inaugural remote keynote delivered between Berlin and Hamburg in the metaverse for BSBI students.

Dr. Svitlana Samoylenko’s pioneering speech on the spatial platform not only enlightened the Creative Industries MA students but also set a precedent for future virtual academic engagements across all the campuses of BSBI – Berlin, Barcelona, Hamburg and Paris.
