BSBI takes students on scientific trip to KNAUER

 

Recently, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) organised a scientific trip to Knauer, a Germany-based leader in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other advanced scientific instruments. Fifteen BSBI students, accompanied by Dr Priya Pattanaik, Lecturer, were welcomed by a Knauer delegation led by Dr Giorgia Greco, Head of Product Management.

The visit began with an engaging presentation of Knauer’s latest technological advancements and applications, detailing development and testing processes. Dr Giorgia also guided the students on a comprehensive tour of the Knauer campus, showcasing the company’s cutting-edge technologies, including Analytical HPLC/UHPLC, Preparative HPLC, and Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC).

The trip offered students a hands-on experience with the latest innovations in chromatography and an inspiring glimpse into the future of scientific research and product development.

Reflecting on the visit Dr Priya said: “The trip not only enhanced students’ technical understanding but also deepened their appreciation for real-world applications of engineering and scientific principles in an innovation-driven environment.”
