BSBI launches Unibuddy platform

Unibuddy: fostering authentic connections

BSBI is excited to announce the launch of Unibuddy, available for prospective students to talk with current staff and students. Unibuddy is a peer-to-peer engagement app that allows prospective students to search staff and current student profiles and  ask any questions they might have. Unibuddy bridges the gap between prospective and current BSBI students and creates an informative space for anyone looking to find out more about life at BSBI.

You have the opportunity to browse different student profiles and reach out to anyone you think might be helpful to talk to. You may choose to connect with someone who has similar hobbies and interests as you, or someone who is studying the same subject area, or maybe connect with someone from your home country.

You can then send direct messages to other students, so you have someone to talk to about your queries – whether that is regarding accommodation, course experience, life at BSBI or living in Berlin more generally.  BSBI has a diverse student cohort with 82 nationalities represented so you are sure to find someone you can connect with.

University ambassadors will also benefit from their role as volunteers. They get the opportunity to share their own experiences and help prospective students who might be choosing between a couple of courses or unsure about starting at a new university. This can help our ambassadors build confidence and feel more connected to BSBI.

We are committed to providing a student-centred approach. This is true when it comes to education, campus experience and student support. We believe this app is another great resource to support our students and make their experience at BSBI even better.
