BSBI holds presentation with BOSCH for students and staff

On Wednesday 21 September, Berlin School of Business and Innovation’s Computer Science and IT Society hosted a presentation with multinational engineering and technology company, BOSCH, for students and staff members.

The event was hosted by Mostafa Khaki, Lecturer and Computer Science and IT Society Coordinator at BSBI, and featured Dr Omid Givehchi, Lead Director of Digital Architecture & Technology for sustainability solutions at BOSCH, who was the guest speaker for the presentation.

The topic of the presentation focused on ‘Industry 4.0 and Industrial IoT (Internet of Things)’. The event was attended by more than 150 students including 85 online students.

Mostafa Khaki presented the impact of data science, Artificial Intelligence and new technologies in the future and discussed the future opportunities in this field of study. During the presentation, Mostafa Khaki and Dr Givehchi discussed how technology is transforming the future careers of marketers, data analysts and business managers.

Dr Givehchi described Industry 4.0 (the fourth generation of the industrial revolution) and Industrial IoT as the most in-demand careers in the near future.

After the presentation, there was a Q&A session, during which the students were able to ask Dr Givehchi various questions about topics explored in the presentation and the industry in general.

BSBI is looking forward to organising many more such events in the future to provide students with the practical knowledge from industry experts.

BSBI Students Represent at the Amsterdam IC Shorts Programme 2025

From 28 July to 1 August 2025, selected BSBI students attended IC Shorts at the University of Applied Sciences Europe – Amsterdam. The week-long programme offered workshops on business planning, market research, branding, and pitching, alongside cultural and team-building activities. Guided by Head of Campus Operations Hamburg, Liz Fernando, students developed and presented business ideas at the Final Pitch Ceremony, where awards were given for Best Overall Pitch and Most Innovative Idea. All participants received certificates.
