BSBI holds largest on-campus event with Zalando SE

On Wednesday 27 July, Berlin School of Business and Innovation held a company presentation of Zalando SE, which was its largest on-campus event.

Zalando SE is currently one of the biggest graduate employers in Berlin, with almost 400 vacancies listed online. The event, held on the second floor of the Student Lounge, attracted over 100 BSBI students and alumni as well as numerous members of staff.

During the event, Kate Hockey, Talent Acquisition Partner at Zalando SE, presented the company’s history and its exponential growth in recent years, its student jobs and internships and the trainee programme that it runs.

Michael Ferenc, Careers Service Manager at BSBI, explained what career support is available to BSBI students and alumni looking to apply to work for this employer. The presentation was well-received by the audience and the Q&A session, which lasted over 40 minutes, had great engagement.

Kate Hockey also confirmed Zalando’s attendance at the biannual BSBI Career Fair in September 2022, scheduled to take place at the new campus in Berlin. This will give BSBI students further opportunity to network with company representatives and meet BSBI alumni currently employed by Zalando SE.
