BSBI Faculty of Creative Industries holds first Annual Autumn Exhibition

On Thursday 6 and Friday 7 October, Berlin School of Business and Innovation Faculty of Creative Industries held its first Annual Autumn Exhibition at the Hamburg campus.

The exhibition aimed to gain insight into the works of tomorrow’s talents and engage in a dialogue with our students. This exhibition featured work from our foundation students, created over the course of their final term.

The faculty held a private viewing with Sagi Hartov, CEO of Global University Systems Germany. This was followed by Café Artistique: Creativity – Troublemaker and Fuel for Growth, which was streamed live onsite at Gastwerk Hotel.

It was a unique event that brought various industry leaders together and shared how creativity goes hand-in-hand with passion, learning and growth. This latest episode was an interactive discussion where the panellists discussed the power of creativity, the importance of education, the link between creativity and sustainability and how to ignite your passion for innovation.

On Friday 7 October, BSBI held an open day where the exhibition was made accessible to the public. Students across the local area visited the exhibition and met our creative arts faculty members, programme consultant and director onsite.

Liz Fernando, Head of Academic Operations of Arts, said: “Most of our foundation students have never done a display of their art, tell their story and most important presented them. It’s about building confidence, showcasing and enriching their talent through storytelling. Here in Hamburg is more about building a creative community and knowledge hub.”

Juérn Hocke, Head of the Faculty of Arts, said: “The objective of this Annual Autumn Exhibition is to showcase the work that has been done by the students in the duration of the year. This is to empower our foundation students who have just graduated to greater opportunities and show pride in their work.

All attendees were impressed by the talents of the student and the faculty. BSBI offers an international education that gives our students a premium education in multiple fields.
