BSBI Annual Student Survey 2025 shows strong student satisfaction and year-on-year growth

BSBI has released the results of its 2025 Annual Student Survey, highlighting strong student satisfaction across academic quality, student support, career services, campus experience and overall engagement.

The survey was open from 29 October to 8 December and invited 5,909 eligible students across BSBI locations to share their feedback. In total, 2,876 students responded, resulting in a 49% response rate. The results reflect feedback from students across Berlin, Hamburg, Barcelona and Paris, with 97% of respondents confirming they had already arrived at their campus location.

The results show a positive upward trend in the student experience. Overall satisfaction with BSBI reached 87%, a 3% increase compared to 2024, while 84% of respondents said they would recommend BSBI to their friends. In addition, 88% of students agreed that BSBI provides a diverse and inclusive environment.

Students reported particularly strong satisfaction with their arrival and enrolment experience. The enrolment process achieved a 96% satisfaction rate, while 89% of students rated their pre-registration experience with BSBI as satisfactory. Students also reported stronger guidance across key areas including study structure, study tools, study support, accommodation, campus activities and finance information.

Student support also received positive feedback. More than 90% of students who used the Student HUB at the Berlin campus reported satisfaction with the support they received, while 88.5% rated the helpfulness, efficiency and response times of Student Support Teams positively across all locations. Over 89% of students also expressed satisfaction with the friendliness of the support teams.

Career support remained another strong area in the survey. Among students who had already used BSBI Career Services, more than 90% expressed satisfaction with the support provided, an increase of approximately five percentage points compared to 2024. In total, 75% of students said they had either used or planned to use the Career Services offered by BSBI.

The survey also showed strong results in student engagement and welfare. Almost 89% of respondents agreed that information about mental wellbeing support services was well communicated, while 86% felt the number of student events was sufficient to support engagement. Satisfaction with the quality and content of events reached 87%, showing another year-on-year increase.

Campus facilities and front-desk support also improved. Students who had arrived on campus reported an overall facilities satisfaction level of more than 88%, compared to 80% in the previous year. Satisfaction with front-desk and reception support reached 92%, nearly 10 percentage points higher than in 2024.

Academic quality remained strong, with satisfaction scores ranging from 82% to 93%. Students also reported high satisfaction with BSBI’s administration and courses, with 89.4% agreeing that administration had been helpful and efficient and 87.68% saying that the courses were satisfying.

The 2025 results reflect BSBI’s continued focus on listening to students and improving their experience across every stage of their journey. Feedback from the survey has been reviewed in detail and used to shape future action plans across academic delivery, student support, campus services and engagement initiatives. The action plan has already been implemented, with valuable suggestions helping BSBI further improve its services in 2026.

“At BSBI, student feedback plays an essential role in how we grow,” said Olena Epelboim, Head of Student Life at BSBI. “These results show clear progress across many areas of the student experience, while also helping us identify where we can continue to improve. We are grateful to every student who shared their voice and contributed to this important process.”

BSBI will continue to work closely with students, academic teams and support departments to build on the results and strengthen the student experience across all campuses.
