MEET THE BSBI TEAM

Dr. Loubna Ali is an Associate Professor in Networking and Information Technology. She holds a PHD in Computer Networks Engineering and graduated from INSA-Lyon France with a Master’s in Computer Science (network security).

Dr. Fountis earned a BSc in Physics (U of Athens & FU Berlin), an MBA (ALBA-Athens) and a DBA (U of Atlanta, GA). He is a Harvard Alumnus (HKS-NIS 2014 & Higher Education Teaching Certificate, GSAS) & INSEAD Alumnus (MAP; Promotion 10F).

Dr Kaddour Chelabi’s research in non-commutative quantum field theory and holographic quantum chromodynamics opened his heart to a limitless horizon to deeply perceive nature and try to closely understand its interactions with humans.

Dr. Roman Bhuiyan is a computer science & informatics lecturer at BSBI. Dr Bhuiyan completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Fraunhofer IGD in Rostock, Germany, from November 2022 to October 2023. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia, where his research focused on computer vision and deep learning techniques and their applications in visual data analysis.

Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali has many years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. Dr. Ali was appointed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, at the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), China as a Category A foreign Top Talent in 2019.

Dr. Olufunke Mercy Popoola is a lecturer in the faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Berlin School of Business and Innovation. She holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Education from the same university.

Dr. Alhasan is a passionate and dedicated educator and researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, with ten years of academic experience. His research interests include deep learning, computational intelligence, data analysis, data visualisation, data warehousing, and big data.

Tuğçe Saka earned her BA degree in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University, Turkey. Upon completing her studies, she worked for 15 years in marketing and strategy management positions in the finance industry before deciding to pursue an academic path.

Dr. Zahid Irshad Younas is an expert academic with experience of more than ten years in teaching and research. Previously, he has served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance Investment (NUST Business School, Islamabad) from 2017 to 2022.
