MEET THE BSBI TEAM

Dr Karim Shehata is a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting with over 13 years of combined experience in academia and the financial industry. He currently lectures at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) in Berlin, Germany, where he delivers a range of advanced modules across MSc and MBA programmes. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Finance), a Master of Science in Investment Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Dr. Lluís Feliu i Roe is an expert in business communication and marketing. He is the founder and CEO of the communication and public relations agency Edeon (www.edeon.net), established in 2010, with offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès and Girona. Dr. Feliu is an active member of Catalonia’s business community, serving as a partner in Sant Cugat Empresarial and as a board member of AIJEC (Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia), where he currently holds the position of General Secretary.

Dr Nol Krasniqi is a Lecturer and Academic Researcher at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI). His academic background integrates economics, management, and agribusiness, with research focusing on management strategies, leadership development, innovation, and policy implications in the fields of agribusiness and economics.

Dr Syed Arslan Abbas Rizvi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Informatics at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), Germany. He obtained his BE in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2010, followed by an MSc in Renewable Energy from King Saud University (KSU), Saudi Arabia, in 2015. He completed his PhD in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2022.

Dr Umut Ekmekci is a lecturer and consultant with over two decades of international experience spanning academia and industry. Since 2001, he has worked extensively in the fields of innovation, strategy, and leadership, integrating academic research with applied business practice.

Hani Ahmed Elagamawy is a Full-Time Academic Lecturer at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (Berlin Campus), Academic Researcher in Strategy, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship, and a Former Internal Audit and Consulting Professional, where he teaches on Foundation Year and Business programmes in collaboration with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

Heidi Bilbao Cotal is a language specialist with a BA in Linguistics and English Literature from the Universidad de Chile and the University of Western Sydney, Australia (2001). She also holds a Master’s in English as a Foreign Language and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Flavio has over 14 years of professional experience in tourism, including more than 3 years in management positions. He has worked with diverse hospitality companies, revenue management, transportation companies, tourism agencies, market research, consulting projects, and as a university MBA lecturer.

Shahla Moradi is a lecturer, researcher, and health manager with extensive experience in higher education, research design, and healthcare quality assessment. She has developed a strong academic and professional background that bridges the fields of science, management, and healthcare. Her interests lie in exploring how business strategies and management practices can be effectively applied to the healthcare sector to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
