Inspiring Future Professionals: BSBI Tourism Students Visit Prestigious Waldorf Astoria

A group of students from the MA in International Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management programme at BSBI had the opportunity to step inside one of Berlin’s most prestigious luxury hotels: The Waldorf Astoria.

The visit offered students an immersive experience in the world of high-end hospitality. They connected their classroom learning with real-world practice in a five-star environment, from exploring the hotel’s elegant interiors to learning about day-to-day operations and customer service excellence.

Experiences like these are key to BSBI’s commitment to providing practical and industry-relevant education. The visit left students feeling inspired and better prepared for future careers in the tourism and hospitality sector. BSBI extends its appreciation to all members of the academic and administrative teams who contributed to the success of this initiative, including Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis FRSA, Dr Niloufar Aminpour, Dr Kamilia Kentra, Flavio Andrew do Nascimento Santos, Dr Moustafa Gaballa, Dr Benedetta Piccio, and Adarsh Agarwal.
