Disruptive delivery and what will education in Germany look like in 2036?

BSBI at the Inaugural PIE Live Germany

On 30 October 2026, BSBI was represented at the first PIE Live Germany. Dr. Farshad Badie, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, spoke on the closing panel, “Disruptive delivery: what will education in Germany look like in 2036?”

He joined sector leaders and The PIE’s CEO, Amy Baker, to discuss how AI, new mobility patterns and changing learner expectations are reshaping international education. He highlighted how strong international partnerships create future-proof course models that span borders.

At BSBI, he explained, students learn to identify a problem, describe it and design a solution. They create value themselves rather than repeat knowledge. This is why personalised, AI-supported learning and internships built into the curriculum sit at the heart of our approach.
