BSBI Hosts Successful Job Interview Workshop and Mock Interview Session in Paris

.

The Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) in collaboration with PPA Business School, successfully hosted a Job Interview Workshop and Mock Interview session. Organised by BSBI Career Advisor, Fatou Barry, the event provided students with essential insights into job interview techniques, body language and strategies to excel in interviews.

The interactive workshop covered fundamental aspects of the job interview process, including how to answer common interview questions and present oneself professionally. A key highlight of the event was the mock interview session, where students had the opportunity to practise their skills in a simulated interview environment and receive real-time feedback.

Fatou expressed her enthusiasm about the students’ participation stating:

“I was very impressed with the students’ engagement in this workshop and the level of those who volunteered for the mock interview sessions. Their participation led to valuable feedback from the rest of the group and sparked fruitful discussions. I’m really excited about the next workshop we are organising next week on the topic of LinkedIn, which will complement the CV workshop and the job interview workshop we hosted recently.”

Students found the session to be a transformative experience. Mahrukh Zulfiqar, an RNCP Titre L7 Global MBA student, shared her thoughts:

“Attending the job interview session was a valuable learning experience. As an introvert, I often struggle with confidence and self-expression, but this session helped me understand how to structure my responses effectively. The mock interview practice was especially helpful in applying these strategies, giving me clarity, courage and practical ways to overcome common interview challenges. I now feel more prepared and aware of areas for improvement in presenting myself confidently. A special thanks to Career Advisor Fatou Barry and the BSBI team for organising such a supportive and interactive learning environment!”

Another participant, Subhan Basit, also an RNCP Titre L7 Global MBA student, highlighted the impact of the session:

“It was brilliant. We got to see firsthand how to respond and behave during an interview. It also helped us align our thinking when answering job interview questions.”

The event reinforced BSBI’s commitment to equipping students with the skills and confidence necessary for the job market. By offering practical training and expert guidance, the Career Services team continues to play a vital role in supporting students’ professional development.

Following the success of this workshop, our campus in Paris is set to host a LinkedIn workshop to further enhance students’ employability skills. Students are encouraged to contact the Career Services team for more information about upcoming career workshops and events.
