BSBI clinches Gold & Silver Awards at iNVENTX 2025

The Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at BSBI proudly celebrates a double victory in AI research. Dr Fahmid Al Farid, Dr Roman Bhuiyan, Dr Farshad Badie, and Dr Duraisamy Balaganesh won Gold and Silver Awards at the international iNVENTX 2025 Invention Competition:

Their work advances computer vision with deep learning for precision agriculture, cross-border traffic sign recognition, and intelligent crowd monitoring, addressing complex real-world challenges across diverse domains.

Dr Farshad Badie, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at BSBI, said: “At the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, we place a strong emphasis on the advancement of artificial intelligence. We firmly believe that the future is shaped where research and education intersect. This outstanding achievement reflects our commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and impactful research.”
