Responsibilities

• Teaching a diverse range of academic modules related to Artificial Intelligence (Robotics Engineering, Metaverse and Digitalisation, Chatbot Design, or Blockchain and Fintech).
• Administering, proctoring, and evaluating all assignments and exams for the assigned classes.
• Designing and developing new curriculum modules as necessary, ensuring relevance to industry standards.
• Mentoring and supervising student dissertations as required.
• Providing personalized consultation and guidance to students to enhance their academic performance and professional development.
• Creating engaging assignment briefs and exam papers that stimulate critical thinking and practical application of knowledge.
• Offering constructive feedback to students to foster motivation, confidence, and continuous improvement.
• Conducting private instruction sessions for individuals or small groups to address specific learning needs and exam preparation.
• Monitoring student progress and implementing intervention strategies when necessary to ensure academic success.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance tutoring practices and contribute to the overall academic environment.
• Developing teaching materials and content aligned with program goals and learning objectives.
• Researching and recommending relevant textbooks, software, and learning resources to enhance the educational experience.
• Communicating student progress effectively through written reports, meetings, and other channels.
• Maintaining accurate records of student performance and assessment results while upholding confidentiality.
• Actively participating in school activities and promotional events to support institutional goals.

Professional competencies

• Hold a PhD or be a PhD candidate in a relevant field.
• Previous teaching experience in higher education, preferably at the university level.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office suite, and educational platforms such as Canvas or Blackboard.
• Demonstrated expertise through scientific publications in related disciplines.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
• Familiarity with timetabling software and study regulations.
