Purpose of this privacy notice

This privacy notice aims to give you information on how Global University Systems collects and processes your personal data including any data you may provide through this website when you:

  • Arrive on our website from a social media site such as Facebook Twitter, Instagram, -  ----- Snapchat, Pinterest, VKontakte or LinkedIn;
  • Complete a call back / enquiry form;
  • You register on our site to apply for a course or programme, corporate/ executive education, professional training, (online, distance learning or campus based) and whether you are applying for yourself or for employees or other staff at your organisation which may - be or become a customer of ours;
  • Sign up for marketing materials; or
  • You provide us with your personal data by any other means.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children on this website.  However where BSBI processes personal data of children in its business operations, we ensure that appropriate safeguards and consents are obtained from parents or caregivers.

It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.

This privacy notice supplements the other notices and does not replace them.

a)      These general terms and conditions apply to the entire business relationship between the BSBI - Berlin School of Business and Innovation GmbH, hereinafter referred to as BSBI, and the student, hereinafter only the student, of the educational programs offered by it.

b)      Educational programs are such educational events, learning materials or similar events and / or documents which are publicly offered by BSBI on their website and / or in other analogue or digital publications.

c)      These general terms and conditions of business may be amended upon changes in the legal situation, changes in the case law or changes in the economic situation. Should these general terms and conditions be modified, the student will be informed in good time and the modified version will be communicated to them. Then the student has a reasonable time to reject the changes. If the deadline expires without success, then the amended version of the general terms and conditions shall apply.

d)      Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure which leads to the situation that classroom lectures cannot be hold, or in the event of illness of the lecturer, the university/institution shall be entitled to carry out online tutorials, live webinars, interactive exercises, online seminars and similar digital offerings instead of classroom lectures, as well as to make available digital textbooks and study materials (e.g. by pdf file), which in such case shall be deemed as equivalent fulfillment of services according to this contract.

  • The registration for the educational programs offered by BSBI is made online or in writing by letter or e-mail and in compliance with these general terms and conditions as well as the provisions on data protection.
  • A binding offer for the respective educational program is available upon submission of the application. BSBI can accept this offer within 14 days. For this purpose, an acceptance confirmation is sent by e-mail to the person concerned.
  • Even without express acceptance, acceptance shall be considered to be the latest if BSBI does not declare its written refusal within 14 days after receipt of the application.

Subject of the respective contract is the educational program to which the application is addressed.

  • The student confirms the authenticity and correctness of the documents provided by them.
  • In the case of an offense, the student is excluded from all BSBI offers. Already booked educational programs are canceled. There will be no repayment of already paid fees and costs.
  • Students from abroad must, on their own responsibility, ensure that their residence permit complies with the residence requirements of the Federal Republic of Germany. BSBI shall be notified without delay if a change in residence status occurs or threatens.

5.1 German students  / EU Students

With conclusion of the contract at least 50% of the annual fee of the respective education programs is due for payment. The payment of the full annual fee is possible. Payment is for the sole purpose of reserving an educational program. A reimbursement for non-participation can not be made.

If only at least 50% of the annual fee has been paid, the remaining annual fee will be payable at the latest at the beginning of the educational program. In the case of multi-annual educational programs, the fee for the following year must be paid no later than 6 months after the last fee has been paid.

5.2 International Students

With conclusion of the contract at least 50% of the annual fee of the respective education programs is due for payment. The payment of the full annual fee is possible. Payment is for the sole purpose of reserving an educational program. A reimbursement for non-participation can not be made.

Students who violate the above mentioned payment terms may not participate in the booked educational program. BSBI reserves the right to terminate the contract in case of violation of the payment regulations or to exclude the respective student from its educational programs.

Consumers in the sense of § 13 BGB (a natural person who makes the order for a purpose that can not be attributed to your commercial or independent professional activity), a right of withdrawal is granted subject to statutory provisions. For the right of withdrawal, the regulations, which are reproduced in detail, are valid in the following cancellation notice:  You have the right to revoke this contract within a period of fourteen days without giving reasons. The revocation period shall be fourteen days from the date of conclusion of the contract.

By means of a clear statement (for example, a letter or e-mail sent by mail) about your decision to revoke this contract. You can use the enclosed sample revocation form, but this is not required. In order to keep the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the end of the revocation period. Consequences of revocation: If you revoke this Agreement, we will pay you all the payments we have received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for the additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a different type of delivery than the most favorable standard delivery offered by us ) within a period of fourteen days from the date on which the notice of revocation of this contract has been received by us. For such repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you have used in the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no case you will be charged for these repayment fees. If you have requested that the services be commenced during the period of revocation, you shall pay us a reasonable amount equal to the proportion of the services already provided to us by the exercise of the right of revocation with respect to this contract Comparison with the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

The €500 discount amount is awarded at the school's discretion. This discount will be applied to the total cost of the programme tuition fee when a student registers and attends our open day on the 25th July 2018 in our Berlin Campus or when the student holds an offer letter and pays the deposit by the 31st of July 2018.

The offer is valid for all our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

For the avoidance of doubt, the above offer will not be retrospective and students enrolled on upcoming intakes who have already made their payments will not qualify for a refund or discount of any kind.

Where the student's tuition fees are being paid by another organisation, the student must ensure that the paying organisation complies with the deadlines for payment.

All remaining fees (if any) must be paid before the end of the programme, with a pre-arranged payment plan. Students who fail to pay their remaining fees as required will relinquish their entitlement to the discount, and their remaining fee will be the original full fee.

The discount is not transferable to another student.

This offer can be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, including scholarships and/or bursaries.

Subject to your explicit prior approval, the school may feature your interview/photo/profile/story on the school’s websites and/or other school publications. We will always ask for your permission/approval prior to publishing this.

The student remains bound by the school Terms and Conditions at all times.

The school reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time.


BSBI Tuition Fee Refund Policy 2020:

8.1 Grounds for refunds

- Visa rejection
- Any financial or personal reasons to withdraw or to cancel the study agreement will be accepted if the refund request is submitted before the below deadline. 

8.2 Deadline 

The refund request can be submitted up to 14 working days before the registered start date of a relevant intake; this excludes students whose visa application was rejected. Once applicants have received their visa refusal letter, they have up to 45 days to apply for a refund, from the date stated on the visa rejection letter. Any refund requests submitted later submitted after this period will not be accepted by BSBI.

8.3 Documents to provide

- In case of visa rejection you will need to provide a visa refusal letter issued from German Embassy
- Refund Request Form can be provided by your programme consultant/advisor
- Where the payee was not the student, an original authority letter from the student authorising payment to the payee will be required

8.4 Procedure

- The Refund Request Form and all the necessary information/documents can be provided by your programme advisors/consultants/recruiter
- All refunds will be processed and paid, at the latest, 30 working days after the submission date

8.5 Refund calculation

For not registered students in the campus: Refund amount = Paid amount – 150 Euro administration costs.

8.6 Tuition fees will not be refunded in the following instances:

There will be no refund payment remitted if the information or any document provided by the applicant/student in the application process were inaccurate.

8.7 How refunds are applied

Refunds will be transferred to the bank account stated in the Refund Request Form. Unfortunately, refunds to Master or Visa Card are not possible.

• Consultations can only be booked within a communicated time. Otherwise, we will automatically schedule one;
• No reschedule is possible until two weeks before the appointment;
• If you are unable to attend due to illness, a medical attestation is required within 24 hours (at the latest) after the consultation in order to get a new appointment. You can send the attestation to: bsbi@sers-ra-gmbh.de
• In the case that you do not show up or provide a medical attestation, the consultation that you are entitled to will not be offered again;
• In the case that you arrive late, your time will not be moved. Make sure you arrive early to avoid the risk of delay;
• You will receive 2 reminders via email and SMS. One will be sent 24 hours prior to the consultation and the other 1 hour before the start of the consultation;
• The consultation is granted only to you as registered student of BSBI; this service cannot be transferred to another person;
• You cannot book a consultation during your classes at BSBI;
• Any information exchanged with the lawyer is to be treated as confidential;
• Cancellation policy: Bookings cannot be cancelled online. Please contact the business if you'd like to change or cancel your booking;
• Rescheduling policy: Clients may reschedule the booking up to two weeks before the scheduled appointment time;

• Students who are using the Immigration Support Service of BSBI and subsequently withdraw from the course, voluntary or based on academic reasons, will be charged a flat fee of 650 EUR for the use of the service at the point of their withdrawal.


  1. Students who have recently arrived in Germany with a different institution sponsored visa and who changed the course of study to BSBI and who may or may not have started their studies with the another institution can benefit from the full service as described above subject to not having a resident permit in place and having a minimum ff 2 months left from their entry visa.
  2. Students who start studying at BSBI but already have a fictional certificate or a residency permit in place issued in Germany or by a different EU/Schengen authority can benefit from the lectures we organise as well as from the 20 minutes legal consultation with an immigration lawyer but will not be able to benefit from the police registration or the residency permit support.


The student acknowledges that the Firm has not and cannot guarantee any outcome for any matters in which the Firm represents the Student. While no guarantee of outcome has been made, the SERS Law Firm will diligently represent the Student's interests and will endeavour to perform only those services required by the facts of the case and the law as determined by the Firm.


The Student understands and acknowledges that any documentation (and drafts of any documentation) created by the Firm is the exclusive property of the Firm and the Firm issues the Student a limited and revocable license for use of the document for the sole purpose of the matter set forth above.  The Student may not use, distribute, disseminate or copy any of the Firm’s documentation or drafts without express authorisation in writing and signed by the Firm’s managing attorney.


The Student’s obligations will include the following:

  • Ensuring that the Firm has the current and working contact information (email, phone number, address) for the Student;
  • Timely cooperation with any request for documents/forms/signatures and similar by the Firm related to the representation;
  • Reasonably and timely responding to communications from the Firm and requests for meetings by the Firm;
  • Complying with the terms and conditions of this agreement, as well as the special ones for the legal consultation.
