European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)

You will earn an Italian master’s degree with 90 European University Credits (ECTS).

• 90 ECTS: 18 month duration – Location: Hamburg, Germany
This system supports student mobility within the EU allowing credit transfers between education institutions.

WHAT WILL THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE?

The MBA in Maritime and Shipping Management programme covers essential concepts of maritime and shipping management, including the law of the sea, port and ship cargo operations and management, marine insurance and chartering.

You will learn how to apply shipping management techniques and concepts to the international maritime sector. This includes, studying management theories and their real-world application in maritime and shipping.

You will develop problem-solving and decision-making skills, which are essential for successful management in the maritime sector. In the final term, you will conduct research and prepare a dissertation on a relevant topic of your choice.All students will have the option to learn German. In addition to face-to-face sessions on campus, students will also be required to access online resources and contents as per the policy.

  • A three-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution in a related discipline.

English Proficiency

  • IELTS: 6.0 overall . TOEFL IBT: Overall, 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17). Pearson Test of English (PTE): 50. Duolingo English Test: 95+.
