We are delighted to host a practical workshop designed to support job-seekers entering the German, French, or Spanish labour markets.
During this interactive session, participants will learn essential strategies and tools to successfully navigate job hunting across Europe, including:
- Different techniques of finding vacancies and available positions in Germany, France or Spain
- German/French and Spanish online job portals – which are worth your time and which aren’t
- German/French/Spanish-speaking or English-speaking? Which positions you should be applying to
- Cultural contexts of job search and in-person networking in Germany, France and Spain
- The “hidden job markets” and how to get into them
- Speculative applications (Initiativbewerbung) – how to prepare and make these
- Online networking portals (such as LinkedIn) as a job application tool
This session is open to all BSBI students and graduates from every campus. Participants from other locations are welcome to join online via MS Teams. Please indicate your attendance preference in Question 3 during registration.
