Dr. Noah Mutai holds a doctorate in applied statistics from Freie University Berlin, Germany. Mutai has over 8 years of experience in teaching, research, and management experience at the University level.

Overview

Dr. Noah Mutai holds a doctorate in applied statistics from Freie University Berlin, Germany. Mutai has over 8 years of experience in teaching, research, and management experience at the University level. He has taught courses in mathematics, statistics, and statistical computing. He has also served as an examination officer at the department level.

His research interests are disaggregated prediction with application to indicators in the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs). Mutai is more interested in health and well-being indicators like poverty, inequality, and social inclusion. The goal is to obtain reliable information from data to inform policy.

He has earned research grants including the German Academic Exchange service (DAAD) scholarship, National Research Fund (NRF), Kenya, and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). Moreover, he has made scholarly contributions through publishing in and serving as a reviewer of internationally reputable journals.
