Berlin School of Business and Innovation appoints Alexander Zeitelhack as Associate Dean

Berlin, 26 October 2018 – Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) has today announced the appointment of Alexander Zeitelhack to the position of Associate Dean.

Alexander Zeitelhack has more than 30 years of experience in management and communication. After a humanistic education and further studies in economics, he graduated in business administration in Nuremberg and then started his career in the media industry.

Holding leading roles in broadcasting corporations and media companies, Alexander developed a keen interest in new media, digital disruption and the future of work. He has also been teaching media management, future research and social entrepreneurship at the Ohm University in Nuremberg for 25 years, where he held the position of Managing Director from 2009 to 2013.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation officially launched in 2018, with Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in business administration, marketing, finance, tourism, hospitality events management, and fashion retail. The school welcomed its first intake earlier this year, and is looking to attract more domestic and international students under Alexander’s academic leadership.

“Strong ties with the German culture and business landscape, a portfolio of international programmes and social entrepreneurship are the driving forces at BSBI,” said Alexander, commenting on his appointment. “The school also has a keen academic focus on students, engaging them inside and outside the classroom to develop a sense of community beyond their studies.

“BSBI aims to add value to the students’ learning experience through key academic and business partnerships, helping them realise their potential. I am looking forward to giving my contribution to delivering this mission.”

As an entrepreneur and consultant, Alex is a specialist in visionary thinking and innovative concepts, resources that are at the core of BSBI future plans. Sagi Hartov, Executive Chairman at BSBI, said, “Our vision is to offer a learning experience focused on entrepreneurship, leadership and employability.

“We are happy to welcome Alexander to our team. His extensive experience and passion for innovation will help driving the growth of our institution, attracting domestic and international students,” added Mr Hartov.
