BSBI Dean Shares Insights on Europe’s AI Future in Open Access Government

An editorial by Dr Farshad Badie, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at BSBI, has been published in Open Access Government, highlighting Europe’s vision for a competitive and ethical digital future.

In the article, Dr Badie explores how the European Union is shaping its position as a global “AI continent” by prioritising ethical, human-centred artificial intelligence, strengthening digital infrastructure, and fostering cross-border collaboration. The piece emphasises the importance of balancing innovation with responsibility to ensure AI development benefits society as a whole.
