In today’s digital age and globally connected world of recruiters and applicants, presenting yourself successfully to a potential employer requires a professional online networking profile.

Platforms such as LinkedIn, XING, Behance, Dribbble or GitHub have millions of registered accounts each. Whether you’re studying business, IT, or a creative field, you can’t afford not to have a profile on one of these websites.

This practical workshop will teach you how to create a new account or improve an existing one on LinkedIn, XING, and Behance.

Following our experience with hundreds of accounts that resulted in internship or graduate post offers, we will provide you with ten short tips and tactics for making your LinkedIn, XING, or Behance page successful.

Excellent profiles from other BSBI students and graduates, as examples to follow, will also be showcased.

Speakers:

MA PgCert Michael Ferenc, Careers Service Manager

BA Soheil Moradianboroujeni, Director of Photo and Video Production

MA Martyna Zmijewska, Careers Advisor

A professional profile photo is an essential component of any successful online presence.

An integral part of every good online account is a professional profile picture. As part of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to have a personal image taken by BSBI Photo and Video Production team on the following day (26 April 2024) and use it on your newly revamped LinkedIn or Behance.

An individual photoshoot lasts only about 15 minutes and you will be able to choose your slot for the 26th April. Only students who attend the workshop on the 25th will be allowed to have their photo taken the following day.

Due to the restricted photo-taking schedule on Thursday, places on this workshop are strictly limited and unregistered entry will not be allowed.
