Overview

Dr. Olajide Festus Awokoya received a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria, an M.Sc. degree in International Business from France Business School, Brest, France, the MBSI in Business Internationalization from Waterford Institute of Technology, Waterford, Ireland, and his Ph.D. from Rennes School of Business, France. He also holds a professional certificate in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personal Management of Nigeria where he is also an Associate Member of the institute.

He joined the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (Paris Campus) in October 2023, where he teaches several course modules, including strategy, marketing, management, and international development.

Before joining BSBI, he worked as an adjunct lecturer in several business schools in France, where he taught several marketing and international business modules and supervised research activities of bachelor’s and master’s students in these fields.

He won the Best Negotiator Award of the International Business Negotiation Joint Module of France Business School, France, and Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland, in May 2014, and his research papers have been accepted for presentation at major international academic conferences in Europe and North America. He has been an ad hoc reviewer for Theoretical Economics Letters (TEL).

His teaching interests have been marketing strategies and entrepreneurship, teaching strategic marketing principles and business operations with practical, real-life case studies, group discussions, and situation analysis.
