Looking back, I can see how some of the most important steps in my career began with experiences I never expected.
With a background in Chemical Engineering, I joined BSBI’s MSc Engineering Management programme, specializing in Project Management, hoping to strengthen my ability to manage complex industrial projects and grow in an international environment. But BSBI gave me more than academic knowledge — it gave me opportunities to connect, explore and discover where my career could take me.
While studying at BSBI, I attended CWIEME Berlin as a student, where I had the opportunity to meet Cargill representatives. At the time, I did not know that this meeting would eventually lead me to my current role. Today, I work as a Process Engineer at Cargill in Türkiye.
What I learned at BSBI continues to shape my work. I now take on project-related responsibilities that allow me to act as a bridge between production and project teams. I am also actively working on AI-based tools for oil processing, bringing together my engineering background with the knowledge I gained about Artificial Intelligence during my studies.
The project management skills I gained at BSBI have been especially valuable in this role. I am also actively working on AI-based tools for oil processing, applying knowledge about Artificial Intelligence that I gained during my studies. My BSBI experience showed me that an international education can open doors to opportunities far beyond where you study.
