The MSc in Psychological Science addresses students who are interested in human behavior – students who need to learn to empirically understand, predict, and shape human behavior in the age of rapid technological advancement.

WHAT WILL THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE?

The Master’s in Psychological Science has been designed to provide the necessary knowledge that will enable graduates to demonstrate practical, analytical, and research competencies for effective professional practice in the field of psychology.
The programme combines modules comprising theoretical learning, research, and professional practice components which are deeply embedded in the module structure. 
The curriculum is organised with a focus on the following: 

  • Each module offers opportunities for learning and applying knowledge related to the domain in focus.
  • The learning outcomes and selected topics are based on professional standard benchmarking.
  • The method of pedagogy, which is part of broader BSBI Didactic Model, aims to ensure the inclusivity of the learners from diverse background.
  • The formative and summative assessments have been designed to ensure a fine balance between Assessment of Learning (AoL) and Assessment for Learning (AfL)
  • The course design offers opportunities for independent professional practice as well

The course is delivered 100% on-campus with full access to state-of-the art facilities. Students will also have additional access to course and reading materials via the UNINETTUNO platform.

LEARNING JOURNEY

The Master’s in Psychological Science course aims to prepare professionals who can work in emerging roles in industry or independently. More specifically, the course aims to:

  • Develop an understanding of the application of critical concepts and theories in the domain of psychology for solving practical problems;
  • Strengthen evidence-based analytical capabilities to handle practical, real-life challenges related to the individual, group, or community behaviour;
  • Enhance competencies required to practice the profession of Psychology under the varying contexts with moral and ethical considerations; and
  • Orient toward the novel application of important theories to understand behaviour and create solutions in the context of the modern-day work environment.

You will also earn a master’s degree with 90 European University Credits (ECTS). This helps student mobility in the EU when it comes to transferring credits from one higher education institution to another.

The MSc in Psychological Science course combines modules comprising theoretical learning, research, and professional practice components. Each module offers opportunities for learning and applying knowledge related to the domain in focus.

This programme consists of three terms (10 weeks each) and a term focused on your dissertation (12 weeks).
ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System): 90 credits

Teaching takes place Monday to Saturday, during morning, afternoon or evening sessions.

The modules of this programme are offered and delivered in blended mode (on campus and online). Students will also have additional access to course and reading materials via the UNINETTUNO platform.

You will also attend modules on academic research methods alongside your master’s degree. During your final term, you will research and prepare a dissertation on a topic of your choice.

(The pathway will be offered if the minimum class size of 15 students is met to ensure a good academic experience.)

Academic Profile

Minimum Age: 21

Academic Qualifications:

  • Strong undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
  • High school certificate.

If you do not meet the academic requirements, you may be assessed on relevant work experience. You must have at least 3 years of management experience.

English Proficiency

  • IELTS: 6.0 overall . TOEFL IBT: Overall, 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17). Pearson Test of English (PTE): 50. Duolingo English Test: 95+.
