BSBI to offer free legal support to students

Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) has partnered with the law firm, SERS Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (SERS), to provide its international students with tailored visa and immigration advice at no extra cost.

The collaboration with SERS provides guidance and assistance to BSBI students from the moment they arrive in Berlin. The SERS legal team welcomes students with a useful lecture on important rights and duties to be observed within German immigration laws, making their approach with the local system easier.

The agreement also includes the very first residence permit application and coordination of the student’s personal appointment with the Immigration Office Berlin/Potsdam. As of 01 September 2023, the SERS service will be extended and includes the support with a job seeking residence permit upon successful completion of studies on time as well as a group consultation offered by the SERS legal team in which students can ask their legal questions.

BSBI students will be able to access these services completely free of charge (terms and conditions apply), helping them to focus on their studying and having an excellent experience living abroad.
