BSBI Provost Appointed Convenor of International Council on Responsible AI in Higher Education

Prof. Dr. Kyriakos Kouveliotis FRSA, Provost & Chief Academic Officer at BSBI School of Business and Innovation, has been appointed Convenor of the newly established CIPU International Council on Responsible AI in Higher Education, launched by the Confederation of Indian Private Universities (CIPU).

The international council aims to bring together academic leaders, policymakers, researchers and industry experts to support the ethical and responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence across higher education institutions worldwide. The initiative will focus on AI governance, academic integrity, inclusivity, data privacy and innovation in teaching, learning and research.

Commenting on the appointment, Prof. Dr. Kyriakos Kouveliotis FRSA said: “I am deeply honoured by the invitation from the Confederation of Indian Private Universities to lead as Convenor of the International Council on Responsible AI in Higher Education. This comes as a privilege but also as a responsibility, inspiring and motivating me to continue making a meaningful contribution to global education.”

In its official invitation, CIPU recognised Prof. Dr. Kouveliotis’ global academic leadership and expertise in innovation in higher education. The council will promote thought leadership, international collaboration and best practices for responsible AI adoption across universities worldwide.
