BSBI organises a field trip to Studio Zum Heimathafen

The Berlin School of Business and Innovation’s Careers Service team recently held a field trip to the Studio Zum Heimathafen, a design and print shop located in Hamburg, Germany.

Over twenty of the Faculty of Creative Industries students from BSBI Hamburg campus were part of the field trip. The participants learnt about the fascinating process behind creating gig posters and graphics, gaining invaluable insights into the craftsmanship that goes into every design.

Designer and Print Maker, Alex Hanke, who runs the studio, shared first-hand tips on starting as a freelancer in the art sector, offering practical advice. Attendees had the chance to ask questions about the creative industry in the city and to listen to insightful, practical and real-world comments that can help them shape their creative journeys in the future.

BSBI Careers Service continues developing new partnerships with organisations operating in the creative sector in Hamburg thus providing its students with the invaluable industry exposure and the necessary networking opportunities they need for progressing their own careers.
