BSBI Hosts New Instagram Live Event Featuring a Student Story

On Sunday 4 October, Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) hosted the latest event in its ‘BSBI Student Showcase’ initiative.

This is a series of Instagram Live events which occur each month, and allow students to discuss their background, projects and successes beyond their study experience.

The guest of honour was Khaled Abdellatif, who is studying the MA Strategic Marketing at BSBI, and is currently a student who works in the Product Marketing Department within the Video and Sound Business Unit at Sony.

Khaled shared his experience as a professional and a student with fellow learners and staff. Before coming to Berlin, he worked for L’Oreal as a Marketing Intern in the Hair Care category; he then moved on to become an Assistant Brand Manager.

After working with L’Oreal, Khaled joined the German company, Henkel, as an Assistant Brand Manager in the Beauty Care Business Unit. He then became a Junior Brand Manager and worked on the world-renowned brands Fa and Schwarzkopf, as well as several other local Henkel brands.

As a professional with years of experience, Khaled could provide great and valuable insights, as well as discuss the benefits of living and studying in Germany.

He also recalled how the school helped him explore new avenues: “BSBI gave me the chance to start on my public speaking path, through the first guest lecture I gave to my fellow BSBI students back in February, which was titled, ‘How to Become a CEO’.”
