BSBI Hamburg campus students visit pioneering digital solutions company

Recently, BSBI facilitated a visit for its Hamburg Campus students to Iteratec, a renowned pioneer in digital solutions.

Eight students from the first intake of the MA User Experience programme visited Iteratec’s Hamburg office. The group was led by Dr Hesam Mosharraf and Georgios Kontis, both lecturers at BSBI.

The students were welcomed by Karsten Lenz, Lead UX Designer & Frontend Developer, along with Senior UX Designers, Meike Korsten and Jana Esselborn. The visit began with a tour of the office, offering insights into Iteratec’s UX workflow. The team then introduced the students to the tools and methods used in real projects, followed by a Q&A session.

BSBI Students Represent at the Amsterdam IC Shorts Programme 2025

From 28 July to 1 August 2025, selected BSBI students attended IC Shorts at the University of Applied Sciences Europe – Amsterdam. The week-long programme offered workshops on business planning, market research, branding, and pitching, alongside cultural and team-building activities. Guided by Head of Campus Operations Hamburg, Liz Fernando, students developed and presented business ideas at the Final Pitch Ceremony, where awards were given for Best Overall Pitch and Most Innovative Idea. All participants received certificates.
