British Council and BSBI partner to expand access to IELTS in Germany
BSBI students in Germany will be able to register for IELTS through BSBI, following a new agreement between the British Council and BSBI. Under the partnership, BSBI becomes an Authorised British Council IELTS Registration Centre in Germany and will host British Council IELTS test sessions for their students at its campuses in Berlin and Hamburg.

A new partnership for the English Language Assessment
The partnership brings together the British Council’s expertise in English language teaching and assessment with BSBI’s international higher education network, supporting students and professionals preparing to study, work or live abroad.
IELTS is accepted by more than 12,500 organisations in over 140 countries, including universities, employers, professional bodies and governments. Every year, millions of people take the test to demonstrate their English language proficiency for international education, professional registration, employment and migration.
We are delighted to welcome BSBI as an Authorised British Council IELTS Registration Centre in Germany. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting students at every stage of their international education journey by providing access to trusted English language assessment where they study.
