Career Service Annual Summary 2025

Every year, BSBI organises career fairs in the cities where our campuses are located, in collaboration with other institutions from the GGG network, including Gisma University of Applied Sciences and the University of Europe for Applied Sciences. These joint events give our students and recent graduates the chance to build strong professional networks by meeting recruiters and hiring managers from a wide range of sectors, from finance and technology to design, hospitality and public services.

Students and alumni can attend individual company presentations, take part in professional photoshoots and CV-check sessions and have one-to-one conversations with employers about internships, part-time roles and graduate opportunities. BSBI Careers Service supports students throughout the process – helping them prepare their CVs, enhance their networking profiles and perfect their elevator pitches so that the connections they make at the fairs can grow into real career opportunities.

Employability Services

BSBI helps students and alumni connect their studies with the demands of today’s labour markets. Through career training, coaching and networking events, we support them in understanding and integrating into the local work and business culture so they feel confident navigating professional life before and after graduation.

Career Workshops

BSBI’s Careers Service runs regular workshops, often with external partners, to help students and graduates:
  • Search and apply for student jobs, internships and graduate roles
  • Present themselves professionally to employers using online and AI tools
  • Get professional photos for CVs and networking profiles
  • Build networking, interview and negotiation skills
  • Understand local work culture and feel confident in multicultural settings
  • Use the JobTeaser platform to find placements and graduate jobs tailored to their interests

BSBI uses a leading recruitment platform, JobTeaser, which enables our students and alumni to:
  • Search its vast job vacancy, internship and work experience database
  • Book appointments with the Careers Service Team
  • Register for career workshops and on-campus employer events
  • Access learning materials and online courses
  • Upload their CVs and be directly headhunted by partner employers

Business Graduates Association

BSBI is a partner of the Business Graduates Association (BGA), giving our students and alumni free access to career resources and a global professional network. Through BGA’s online platform, they can use tools such as:
  • CV and cover letter builders including the CV360 tool
  • Employer database and industry reports
  • Video and audio training, tutorials and news
  • Career assessments, aptitude tests and an interview simulator

Alumni network

Beyond their studies, BSBI students become part of the alumni network – a global community of graduates and professionals who offer support, guidance and valuable connections. Through the Alumni LinkedIn Group, alumni can stay up to date with BSBI news, network and hear about opportunities and upcoming events.

As alumni, they retain access to the Careers Service for up to one year after graduation, with individual appointments, on-campus career events and ongoing job and placement listings via the BSBI JobTeaser platform.

Employer Services

BSBI partners with companies and external organisations to support recruitment and connect them with our practice-oriented students. Our programmes are designed with employer expectations in mind, so graduates bring practical skills and up-to-date business knowledge into the workplace.

Promote your vacancies free of charge

Through the JobTeaser platform, employers can register, advertise vacancies, promote their professional events, raise their brand awareness as well as access a large talent pool of BSBI students and graduates at no cost.

Tailored support from the Careers Service Team

Our Careers Service works with employers to understand their hiring needs and target the right candidates. Support includes vacancy promotion, recruitment and selection assistance, on-campus events (company presentations, interviews, career fairs) and help source students for projects, internships or graduate roles. All employer services are free of charge.
