Overview
Manuela Napolitano is Lecturer and Academic Support Centre Manager at BSBI – English Department.
She holds a Teaching Qualification (Master of Education) in Didactics of English as a Foreign Language issued by the Italian Ministry of Education (Abilitazione all´Insegnamento) and officially recognised by the Senate of Berlin (Staatlische Anerkennung als Lehrkraft). Previously, she earned a Master´s Degree in Pedagogy and Development of Intelligence (Università degli Studi eCampus), a Master´s Degree cum Laude in English Studies, a Bachelor´s Degree cum Laude in European Languages, Cultures and Literatures (Università degli Studi di Napoli L´Orientale), and a professional certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
She brings more than ten years of experience in teaching adult and young learners at public schools and higher education institutions in Italy and Germany, backed by solid competence in teaching strategies, learning support, evaluation procedures. She also served as standardised examiner for the UK Ofqual accredited providers of English language certifications in Italy. Alongside teaching, she supports students throughout their ongoing educational journey, standing for learner-centred didactics in the light of an inclusive, multilingual, cross-cultural and lifelong learning experience.
