Overview

Hani Ahmed Elagamawy is a Full-Time Academic Lecturer at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (Berlin Campus), Academic Researcher in Strategy, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship, and a Former Internal Audit and Consulting Professional, where he teaches on Foundation Year and Business programmes in collaboration with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

His teaching portfolio includes modules such as Marketing, Communication & Branding, Creative Business Project, and English for Academic Purposes, Research & Study Skills. With a professional background that bridges academia and industry, Hani brings a multidimensional perspective to the classroom, combining theoretical rigour with real-world insights.

Before transitioning to academia, Hani held senior positions across diverse sectors including consulting, oil and gas, telecommunications, and the sugar industry. His professional experience spans several countries — Germany, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia — working with multinational and large-scale organizations such as TotalEnergies, Vodafone, Protiviti, and Canal Sugar.

This global exposure enriches his teaching approach, emphasizing cross-cultural management, strategic thinking, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Hani holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) degree. His doctoral research explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into strategic foresight for entrepreneurial decision-making and innovation resilience, aiming to develop frameworks that enhance organizational adaptability in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environments.

Hani is passionate about student-centred learning, critical thinking, and ethical leadership development. His academic interests include strategy design and implementation, foresight and innovation, and sustainable entrepreneurship. Beyond teaching and research, he contributes to academic quality assurance, assignment design, and moderation processes to maintain high academic standards across BSBI’s programmes.
