Overview

Katherine is an International Lecturer working at BSBI with a background in the Creative Industries, working in the advertising and marketing industry. She account managed Harvey Nichols, Oxo Tower, Schuh, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and many other major blue chip and FMCG brands. She then progressed to global marketing communications with IBM, before moving into the higher education sector.

Katherine has over 20 years experience as an academic in Higher Education. In the field of Fashion Business and Luxury both UG and PG, she then set up the Business School for the Creative Industries in the UK before moving into International academic consultancy.

Areas of expertise

Katherine’s area of expertise are in the field of curriculum development for both UG and PG programmes within the Business sector. Particularly with reference towards Business for the Creative Industries.

Research Interests

Katherines primary research interest is in the field of fashion forecasting and trend.

Having been responsible for reviewing many books in the field of Fashion Business and Marketing alongside strategic and marketing within the luxury sector this has fully supported research interest to pursue her PhD in this sector.
