Why the RNCP Titre Level 7 Matters for Your Career

Unlike a standard internship certificate, the RNCP Titre L7 is officially registered with the French government and recognised across Europe. It confirms you’ve met national standards for management-level competence—giving you a competitive edge when applying for roles in France, Europe, and internationally.

Internship Integration: Turn Your CV Into Proof of Professional Experience

When you complete the MA Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management with BSBI, you’ll undertake a structured internship with PPA Business School—designed not just as work experience, but as official validation of your professional competencies.

Why This Internship Transforms Your CV:

You’ll earn the RNCP Titre Level 7—a state-certified credential issued by the French Ministry of Labour that formally recognises your management and operational skills. This isn’t just a certificate: it’s government-backed proof that you’ve successfully applied advanced competencies in a real business environment.

What this means for your career:

Certified Professional Experience. Your CV won’t just say “6-month internship.” It will show a state-validated qualification confirming you’ve demonstrated management-level skills in tourism, hospitality, or event operations.

Proof of Managerial Competence. The RNCP Titre Level 7 certifies that you can lead projects, manage teams, analyse business performance, and deliver results—skills employers actively seek in mid-level and senior roles.

Enhanced Employability in France & Europe. French employers highly value RNCP qualifications because they’re issued by the state. This credential strengthens your credibility and positions you for roles with greater responsibility and higher salary bands.

Dual Validation on One CV. You graduate with both academic excellence (MA degree) and professional validation (RNCP Titre L7), making you stand out as a candidate who combines strategic knowledge with proven workplace expertise.

The Result?

You don’t graduate as a “recent graduate.” You graduate as a professionally certified tourism manager with state-validated expertise—ready to lead from day one.

FAQ's

This programme awards two core qualifications that together position you for success in the global finance sector: (1) MSc Finance and Investment (awarded by BSBI) – A professional master that provides rigorous training in financial analysis, investment strategy, quantitative finance, corporate finance, and financial markets. Recognised internationally, this qualification prepares you for analytical and strategic roles in banking, asset management, corporate finance, and fintech. (2) RNCP Titre Level 7 - International Business Development Manager (awarded by PPA Business School, certified by the French Ministry of Labour) – A state-certified professional qualification earned through a mandatory internship in financial institutions, investment firms, or corporate finance departments.

Optional UK Academic Degree Upgrade: You have the opportunity to upgrade your qualification to include a UK academic degree awarded by the University of Chichester—a prestigious UK institution ranked in the Top 30 (Guardian University Guide 2026) with over 130 years of academic heritage. With this upgrade, you will graduate with three recognised qualifications: a Professional Master's diploma from BSBI, an RNCP Level 7 diploma from PPA, and a UK academic degree from the University of Chichester. This triple qualification offers maximum international recognition and mobility. The upgrade requires meeting eligibility requirements for the academic route (bachelor's degree or equivalent) and an additional fee of €1,200 on top of the Professional Master's tuition fee. The UK degree component is delivered through additional blended learning modules.

What this means for your CV: With the core dual qualification (Professional Master's + RNCP), your CV shows both professional expertise (BSBI diploma) and state-validated operational experience (RNCP certification). If you choose the UK degree upgrade, you add a third layer of academic credibility from a top-ranked British university, making you competitive for roles in the UK, Commonwealth countries, and organisations that specifically value UK academic credentials. This combination positions you as both a strategic thinker (academic credentials) and an operational expert (RNCP certification)—exactly what luxury hotels, international event agencies, and global tourism organisations seek in management candidates.

Yes. The RNCP Titre Level 7 is officially recognised as equivalent to a Master's degree (Level 7 on the European Qualifications Framework), making it understood across Europe and internationally. In the finance sector specifically, European employers recognise this as proof of advanced professional competence in financial analysis, investment management, or corporate finance operations. International financial institutions with operations across multiple countries understand French professional certifications, particularly those with European headquarters or significant presence in France. Many global financial services firms recruit RNCP-certified graduates because the certification demonstrates hands-on experience in financial markets and client-facing roles. Outside Europe, while the RNCP acronym may be less familiar, your dual qualification (UK degree + French RNCP) demonstrates both academic credentials and state-validated professional experience. International recruiters in financial hubs value this combination: a recognised UK degree in finance paired with certified operational training in one of Europe's major financial centres. The mandatory internship validated by the French government shows you have successfully applied financial analysis, investment principles, or corporate finance techniques in real business contexts—a credential that strengthens your CV in any market. You will be able to use the UK degree when applying to international financial institutions and emphasise the RNCP when explaining their practical financial modelling, client advisory, or investment analysis experience during interviews.

The internship is a mandatory component that places you in real financial environments and is required to earn the RNCP Titre Level 7. It takes place after completing your academic modules and is facilitated through PPA Business School's network of financial services partners in Paris and across France. Duration: The internship typically spans up to 6 months of full-time professional work in finance-related roles. When: Usually completed after your taught modules, allowing you to apply the financial theories, quantitative methods, and investment strategies you've learned in academic study. Where: You'll work in roles within investment banks, asset management firms, corporate finance departments, financial advisory consultancies, fintech companies, private equity funds, or financial planning organisations, matching your career interests in areas such as equity research, portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, or financial analysis. Support: BSBI's career services team maintains direct relationships with students and provides support including CV writing tailored to finance roles, interview preparation for technical finance interviews, and employer matching based on your specialisation interests. You'll also have academic supervision and an industry mentor throughout your internship. The internship serves as a critical career stepping stone, many finance students receive permanent job offers from their internship employers, as financial institutions often use internships as extended recruitment processes for analyst and associate positions.

Yes, absolutely. The MSc Finance and Investment programme is taught entirely in English at BSBI's Paris campus. You do not need to speak French to enrol or complete your academic studies. What about the internship? English-speaking finance internships are widely available in Paris: The city is home to numerous international financial institutions, investment firms with English-speaking teams, corporate finance departments of multinational companies, and fintech startups operating in English. PPA Business School has strong connections with these employers and regularly places students in roles where English is the primary working language, particularly in international asset management, equity research covering global markets, corporate finance for multinational clients, and quantitative finance positions. French language is a bonus, not a requirement: While speaking French can expand your internship options, particularly with domestic French financial institutions or retail banking networks, it's not mandatory. Many international finance students complete successful internships in entirely English-speaking environments, especially in roles focused on international markets, quantitative analysis, or global client portfolios. Learning French while you study: BSBI and PPA offer optional French language courses if you'd like to develop your French skills during your time in Paris. Basic French can be helpful for daily life and networking, but it's not required for academic success. Many finance professionals in Paris work primarily in English, particularly in investment banking, asset management, and international corporate finance. Student visa considerations: You do not need to demonstrate French language proficiency to obtain a student visa for this programme, as it's taught in English. English proficiency is the only language requirement for admission.

The programme tuition fee is for the full 24-month course, with early bird discounts of up to 40% available depending on the intake period. An optional upgrade to get an academic degree (adding a UK degree from University of Chichester) is available for an additional cost. Living costs in Paris for hospitality students are manageable with several sector-specific benefits: CAF housing subsidies can cover 30% of your monthly rent (typically reducing accommodation costs from €500-800/month to €300-500/month), student transport discounts offer 50% off public transport for under-26s, and your mandatory 6-month internship provides competitive income (often higher than other sectors due to industry standards, plus many hotels provide staff meals saving on food costs). The programme represents an investment in your finance career, providing both academic credentials and professional certification. When evaluating the total cost, consider that you can receive different qualifications (UK master's degree and French RNCP) and mandatory professional experience through your internship. Additionally, Paris offers access to museums, cultural institutions, and professional networking events that enrich your learning experience without requiring significant additional expenditure.
