In the creative arts, innovation often stems from exploring the unknown and pushing boundaries. Open-source technologies are transforming the creative landscape, equipping artists, designers, and storytellers with powerful tools to express their ideas in new and unexpected ways.
In our upcoming Café Artistique session, Dr. Okan Tansu, Interim Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries and Lecturer, will host Ms. Asli Dinç, a multidisciplinary artist and researcher, for a discussion on “The Future is Open-Source: Gaming, Hacking, and Narrating with Data.“ The session will take place on 12 September 2024 at 4 PM CET, and we’re excited to announce that it will be held at our Hamburg campus, home to BSBI’s Faculty of Creative Industries.
The session will delve into the integration of AI and neural networks in art and technology, how these shape the future of creative work, and the impact of deepfake technology. Ms. Dinç will also share her insights on the evolving relationship between AI, art, and human creativity.
As with our previous sessions, this episode will encourage audience interaction during the livestream. Whether you’re an aspiring creative professional or already established in the industry, this event promises valuable insights, connections, and a fresh spark of creativity.
