In a world where identities shift, evolve, and intersect more than ever before, art offers a powerful lens to understand who we are—and who we are becoming.
In our upcoming Café Artistique session, we invite you to explore Metamorphosis and the Fluidity of Identity through the work of contemporary painter and graphic designer Termeh Yaghoubi. Guided by Dr. Okan Tansu, Interim Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries and Lecturer.
This inspiring conversation will uncover:
🌀 How metamorphosis influences artistic creativity and personal evolution
🌍 The impact of displacement and cultural hybridity on visual identity
🎨 Ways artists use storytelling to challenge fixed narratives and redefine the self
Through Yaghoubi’s perspective, participants will discover how fluid identities open space for innovation, critical thinking, and new modes of representation. The session encourages creatives of all backgrounds to reflect on their own journeys and integrate themes of change, hybridity, and visual storytelling into their practice.
BSBI students can join onsite.
Don’t miss this chance to unlock your creativity and experience the transformative power of art!
