Overview
Hector Robelló is a finance professional and sustainable finance consultant with extensive experience as both a manager and lecturer in asset management, financial markets, and sustainable finance. In recent years, he has worked on the development and implementation of projects related to the EU Taxonomy, climate risk assessment and TCFD reporting, sustainable financing frameworks and Second-Party Opinions, as well as ESG impact measurement within investment portfolios for financial and non-financial institutions.
He has also contributed to financial markets projects, including portfolio management, asset allocation, investment strategy development, and the analysis of equity and multi-asset portfolios. His broader professional background includes participation in conferences, contributions to the press, specialised consulting, executive education, supervision of finance and sustainable finance dissertations, and the review of ESG-focused academic research.
He previously worked as a wealth management and equity portfolio manager in a financial institution, and as a pension plan manager in an insurance company. These roles strengthened his focus on investment management, long-term portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and the integration of sustainability considerations into investment decision-making.
