Our team

Overview

Shahla Moradi is a lecturer, researcher, and health manager with extensive experience in higher education, research design, and healthcare quality assessment. She has developed a strong academic and professional background that bridges the fields of science, management, and healthcare. Her interests lie in exploring how business strategies and management practices can be effectively applied to the healthcare sector to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

She currently serves as a lecturer at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, where she applies innovative and student-centered teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes and engagement. In this role, she is responsible for designing and customizing course pages within the Canvas learning platform, developing evaluation materials, and ensuring that all teaching activities align with BSBI’s academic standards and those of its partner universities. In addition to her teaching duties, she plays an active role in faculty development by training incoming lecturers on the effective use of digital platforms and pedagogical tools to support blended learning.

Before joining BSBI, she worked as a Research and Development Analyst at DEK Deutsch Extrakt Kaffee GmbH in Berlin. In this position, she conducted analytical testing of coffee products, performed sensory and chemical evaluations, and developed comprehensive technical documentation. This role enhanced her analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and strengthened her ability to manage research-driven projects in an international business environment.

Earlier in her career, she gained several years of university-level teaching and research experience at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran, focusing on toxicology, pharmacology, and research methodology.

In a previous role, she managed biochemistry laboratory operations, overseeing testing procedures, monitoring data accuracy, and implementing quality control measures to ensure reliable outcomes. Drawing on her diverse background across academia, research, and industry, she is passionate about integrating scientific research with business and management strategies to enhance innovation, quality, and leadership in the healthcare sector. Through her teaching and research, she aims to empower students to approach complex professional challenges with critical thinking, ethical responsibility, and a balance between theory and practice.
