Overview
Dr.-Ing. Foawziah Naseri is an accomplished academic and data science professional with a strong background in artificial intelligence, research, and higher education. Her career reflects a deep commitment to learning, innovation, and the advancement of knowledge in technology and data-driven disciplines.
Foawziah began her academic journey in India, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree, establishing a solid foundation for her future pursuits in science and technology. Driven by an early passion for education and knowledge sharing, she embarked on a teaching career shortly after graduation. Over the course of six years, she taught at several universities, gaining extensive experience in curriculum design, student mentorship, and academic leadership. Her ability to connect theoretical understanding with practical application made her an inspiring presence in the classroom.
Her academic excellence and research potential were recognised internationally when she was awarded the prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarship, enabling her to pursue both her Master’s and PhD degrees at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin)—one of Europe’s leading institutions in science and engineering. During her time there, she conducted advanced research combining artificial intelligence, data analysis, and real-world applications, further strengthening her technical expertise and analytical skills.
Beyond academia, Foawziah has made significant contributions to the professional world through her work with various companies and research institutions. She has held positions that allowed her to apply her academic insights to complex business and scientific challenges. Notably, she worked at ESMT University as a Data Scientist and Researcher, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects that leveraged data science to drive innovation and strategic decision-making.
Currently, Foawziah serves as a Lecturer at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), where she teaches courses in artificial intelligence and related technologies. Her teaching philosophy centres on empowering students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and apply AI tools ethically and effectively in the modern world.
Throughout her career, Dr.-Ing. Foawziah Naseri has demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and data science practice. Her work continues to bridge the gap between academia and industry, inspiring the next generation of innovators in AI and data-driven technologies.
