Opportunities for Visiting Scholars

About the programme

Berlin School of Business and Innovation welcomes visiting scholars from prominent academic institutions around the world to engage in collaborative research and academic exchange. Visiting scholars are encouraged to collaborate with our faculty on joint research projects, participate in seminars and workshops and access our research infrastructure and institutional networks. Our school provides a dynamic and inclusive environment that fosters innovation, interdisciplinary dialogue and research excellence.

We are proud to host a large and diverse student body and faculty, representing a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and professional experiences. This diversity provides a valuable resource for visiting scholars engaged in various types of research, especially methods such as focus groups, interviews and case studies in fields like business, management, technology and human behaviour.

All scholars with doctorate degrees are also encouraged to explore the opportunities offered by our Postdoctoral Research Centre (PRC)

How to apply

Applications are welcome throughout the year. Each application should include a detailed research proposal outlining the proposed duration of stay, background and rationale, research plan, expected outcomes and a CV. We invite scholars on sabbatical leave, as well as those supported by international funding programs such as Erasmus+, the Humboldt Fellowship and other mobility grants, to join our academic community.

We welcome expressions of interest from scholars whose work aligns with our research priorities and who wish to contribute to our mission of advancing knowledge, practice and global engagement in business and management. Please contact Dr Aidan Islyami at aidan.islyami@berlinsbi.com for more information.

We look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant academic community in Berlin!
